Behold, Extraterrestrial beings, our One Human Band Festival is back.

Super Concert asbl (and before its existence, Super Fourchette) is proud to announce that the most long awaited intergalactic showcase is here: One Human Band Festival.

The people of earth takes the first leap of faith and sets the ground for the first interplanetary gathering, and what better reason could there be than to present the best music each species has to offer.

What exactly are we talking about?

There’s one criterion: only solo projects!
You can expect a 2-day festival, filled with the most eclectic solo performances and music genres from our particular corner of the Milky Way.

These One Human Band performer have transcended the trappings of woman, man etc. and have embraced what it is to be human while at the same time embracing their super-human powers.

One Human Band creates what we call MUSIC. Be it with the aid of some of the most exquisite technology, or accompanied by instruments of the utmost rudiment, one thing is for sure:

These humans, alone, will put on the best show in the galaxy!

For Whom?
Those open minded enough to embrace a festival, old enough to be childish and young enough to be mature.

With this in mind, and with our beloved public, we hope to invite amicable (and nice smelling) extraterrestrial creatures to showcase their best One Being performances.

We’ll be radio broadcasting this into space via our humanoid-endoskeletal radiation, while all the time spreading the Love for Music.

Yes, we’ll also have a good range of the best local Earth dishes (or at least European, or Belgian), and the best local beverages too (we turn cereal into a delicate elixir and fruit into a sumptuous juice, for when we’re too lazy to chew).

Festival One Human Band -2ieme edition

Voilà, chers êtres extraterrestres, notre Festival One Human Band est de retour. L’asbl Super Concert (anciennement “Super Fourchette”) est fière d’annoncer que la vitrine intergalactique la plus attendue est enfin arrivée: le Festival One Human Band.
Le peuple de la Terre manifeste son premier acte de foi, posant les bases du premier rassemblement interplanétaire: et quelle meilleure raison pourrait-il y avoir que celle de présenter la meilleure musique que chaque espèce a à offrir!

De quoi s’agit-il exactement ?

Il y a un seul critère à respecter: uniquement des projets en solo! Vous pouvez vous attendre à un festival de 2 jours, rempli de performances solo et de genres musicaux des plus éclectiques de notre coin de la Voie Lactée. Ces artistes du One Human Band ont transcendé les limites de la femme, de l’homme, etc., et ont embrassé ce que cela signifie d’être humain, tout en embrassant leurs pouvoirs surhumains. One Human Band crée ce que nous appelons la MUSIQUE. Que ce soit avec l’aide de certaines technologies des plus exquises, ou accompagnés d’instruments des plus rudimentaires, une chose est sûre: Ces humains seuls offriront le meilleur spectacle de la galaxie!

Pour qui?
Ceux qui ont l’esprit assez ouvert pour embrasser un festival, et ceux qui sont assez vieux pour être enfantins et assez jeunes pour être matures. Avec cela en tête et avec notre public bien-aimé, nous espérons inviter des créatures extraterrestres amicales (et qui sentent bon), à présenter leurs meilleures performances d’Être Unique. Nous avons vérifié avec la NASA et l’ESA, ils sont d’accord Nous diffuserons cela dans l’espace via notre radiation humanoïde-endosquelettique, tout en répandant en permanence l’Amour de la Musique.

Nourriture? Boisson?
Oui, nous aurons également un bon choix des meilleurs plats locaux de la Terre (ou du moins Européens, ou Belges), ainsi que les meilleures boissons locales (nous transformons les céréales en un élixir délicat et les fruits en un jus somptueux, pour les moments ou nous nous trouvons trop paresseux pour mâcher).

Vallée des Fleurs est musicien multi-instrumentiste issu de l’Allemagne et des États-Unis, surtout actif au violon et à la guitare. Sa musique mélange le folk, le rock psyche et les ondes cosmiques, qu’il reçoit perché dans son grenier dans la capitale européenne.

Head on Stone is an intimate solo project of Nele Janssen (Peuk). Accompanied by a piano she brings personal, melancholic and atmospheric songs.

Aude Van Wyller, born 1991, is a visual artist and composer from Paris. She is interested by poetry and music and its dispersion in many spaces such as stairs, amphiteaters, concert rooms, gardens… After creating multi-channel installations performing readings with actors and recordings, she worked on a single project of sound poetry and electronic music, under the moniker Oï les Ox, called ‘Crooner qui coule sous les clous’ (A crooner that sinks under nails).

It has been released in 2020 on tape and reissued twice in 2021 and 2022 on vinyl via The Death of Rave (UK) and digitally by Primordial Void (US). She released another EP on K-Rut/Kraak records (BE) with ‘Terrain Transparent’ in 2020. She has been resident in 2021 at Le Botanique, Les Ateliers Claus (Brussels) and Hetbos (Antwerp). She played at Heart of Noise festival (Innsbruck, 21), at Schiev festival (Brussels, 22), at Oxi Club (Berlin, 22) and her live set has been broadcasted on the SWR2 german television and radio channel (Freiburg, 22).

Avec son solo “KABAAL” le batteur Jakob Warmenbol cherche inlassablement à repousser les limites de sa batterie en y intégrant des micros de contact, un module de batterie électronique et un sampler.
Tout en gardant l’élément de surprise comme principal moteur de ses compositions improvisées instantanées, les larsens et samples tordus l’entrainent à la découverte d’un terrain de jeu (a)tonal, désorientant, dyonisiaque et frénétique. Ces déviations sonores imprévisibles invitent à se perdre ensemble au bord de la faille, secoués dans tous les sens, dans un paysage abstrait de rythmes industriels aux ombres bruitistes folkloriques.
