GOTUS is not only an „all-star band“ that reunites the finest musicians of Switzerland with two of the most prolific voices in today’s Rock Music, GOTUS is a high quality live act! Nowadays more than ever, music has to LIVE!

Back in 2019, Armand “Mandy” Meyer and Pat Aeby met in order to discuss the possibility of creating a new musical project together. The idea to play live and revisiting the songs Mandy wrote during his impressive career seemed to be logical. The repertoire will include tracks from Unisonic, Gotthard, Cobra, House Of Lords, Katmandü and probably other surprises.

Mandy is surrounded by the best of the best in swiss Rock Music; Tony Castell (Krokus) on bass, Pat Aeby (Krokus, Storace) on drums, Alain Guy on keyboards.

Last but not least, the international Rock Superstars Dino Jelusick (Whitesnake) and Ronnie Romero (Rainbow, Michael Schenker) on vocals. The actual singer of GOTUS is RONNIE ROMERO.

The start of GOTUS was difficult and stopped due to the Covid years we all went through, but this also gave us the opportunity to write new songs and yes…! an album of original material will be release in early 2024 with Ronnie Romero on vocals.

GOTUS collaborated with Alessandro Del Vecchio as co-writer and co-producer of this first album and we can’t wait to let you hear it!!! Our common work with Alessandro was a lucky match.
Meyer, Aeby and Castell have worked together since many years, including during the successful Krokus era of the Rock The Block, Fire & Gasoline and Hellraiser records. “It feels great to be back on the road with old friends”.

The new live repertoire will include the strongest songs of the new album but also some standards and hit songs written through the years by Mandy Meyer.

JELUSICK

As Dino’s previous band Animal Drive was dismissed due to some unfortunate circumstances in May 2020, Dino continued to play live under his name Jelusick. Under this name the song “Healer” was released but because of the lawsuit with Frontiers Records the mentioned label managed to take down the song from all platforms several time. Still, Dino and his friends managed to play on 2 European tours which also included Guitar e Scene festival 2021 where they played as all star band together with John Norum and Gus G. Same line up played there the following year and shared the stage with Airbourne, Johnny Depp & Jeff Back, Black Label Society, Beth Hart… End of November 2022 the lawsuit between Dino and Frontiers ended and Jelusick became a band with the same line up and immediately started recording songs for new album.
