Germans celebrate pentecost 50 days after Easter with an extra public holiday on Monday and thus an extended weekend. Experimental music lovers celebrate a unique festival in the city of Moers near Duesseldorf that weekend, which is the from May 17th to 20th in 2024. Many refer to the moers festival as an avant-garde and jazz happening, the creators call it a time and place for music, contemplation, superheroes and togetherness! There will be concerts with artists from all over the world, discussions and so much more you would not typically expect at a festival.
