🇬🇧 With the release of its first compilation « ALL.GENDERS.ARE.BEAUTIFUL »(A.G.A.B), the music label Yaz Records reignite its devotion to the diversity of soundscapes. This compilation engages in a wide range of different musical genres and marks the label’s official bow into a new structure.

Going forward, the music label will be split into two factions to represent the music classified under each. The sub-label Yaz Records Urban will represent the Trip-Hop/Neo-Soul/Story Telling faction of music, while Yaz Records Dancefloor will epitomize the Techno and Progressive side of the label.

ALL GENDERS ARE BEAUTIFUL is a title that mirrors the stage name of its creator, Dj Gender Fluid. The Moroccan Dj manages to juggle many musical genres: hip-hop, techno music, trance music, and many others… One would expect the collection of tracks to drifts into chaos, and yet, it makes sense out of this chaos bringing it all back together. From this, emerges a beautifully fluid music dwelling somewhere between a certain harmony and ethereal sound.

The acronym A.G.A.B is a cry of peaceful resistance in the face of a system that rejects the difference of the Other. A cry, yes, but a cry of beauty to embrace alterity. It’s a call to find love amidst hatred.

This collection assembles the tracks of many friend musicians, but also of some artists that have been discovered during the parties held by Dj Gender Fluid. The goal is to introduce to the world a whole panel of new projects to come, in partnership with Yaz Records.

🇫🇷 Avec la sortie de sa première compilation “ALL.GENDERS.ARE.BEAUTIFUL (A.G.A.B)”, le label YAZ Records démontre avec succès son attrait pour le son dans toute sa diversité, en y associant de nombreux et différents genres musicaux .

L’éclectisme qui se dégage de ce recueil de tracks fait office d’annonce officielle : le label sera scindé en deux unités distinctes, deux “sous-labels”; d’une part Yaz Records Urban (Trip-Hop / Neo-Soul / Story Telling), et de l’autre Yaz Records Dancefloor (Techno / Progressive)

ALL GENDERS ARE BEAUTIFUL, c’est un titre qui fait écho au nom de scène de son créateur, marocain, Dj Gender Fluid, qui parvient à jongler avec différents genres musicaux, du hip-hop à la techno en passant par la trance. Là où pourrait résulter du chaos se crée au contraire une fluidité musicale certaine.

Le sigle A.G.A.B s’établit donc comme un cri de résistance pacifique à un système qui rejette la différence de l’autre. Un cri certes, mais un cri d’amour là où l’altérité est reniée, un œil ouvert capable d’observer le triomphe de la beauté là où la haine s’est installée.

Cette compilation regroupe les tracks de nombreux ami.e.s musiciennes et musiciens, mais aussi d’artistes rencontrés à l’occasion de soirées organisées par Dj Gender Fluid.
Elle permettra également de découvrir de nouveaux projets à venir en collaboration avec Yaz Records
